Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated June 9, 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of launchflare.app (the "Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this AUP.

We may update it as the product and threat landscape evolve.

2. Only analyze URLs you're allowed to

Submit URLs for products you own, operate, or have permission to analyze. Don't use the Service to scrape, ingest, or generate marketing for sites you have no right to.

Respect other sites' robots, terms, and rate limits. The Service reads public pages to build a brief; it is not a tool for bulk-scraping third parties.

3. Prohibited content & purposes

Don't use the Service to create content for: illegal goods or services; fraud, scams, or deceptive schemes; weapons, drugs, or regulated products you're not licensed to sell; sexual content involving minors; hate, harassment, or incitement to violence.

Don't generate content that impersonates a person, brand, or official entity, or that knowingly spreads false or defamatory claims.

4. Platform & distribution rules

Launch kits include copy for X, LinkedIn, Product Hunt, Reddit, Indie Hackers, and email. You are responsible for following each platform's rules when you post.

Don't use Launchflare outputs to spam, mass-DM, operate bot networks, manufacture fake reviews/upvotes, or otherwise abuse a platform. Posting is on you; generation is on us.

5. Don't abuse the Service

No probing, scanning, reverse-engineering, or attempts to bypass rate limits, auth, or billing. No reselling raw API access or reselling generated kits as your own product.

No uploading malware, no automated scraping of the Service, no actions that degrade reliability for others.

6. Fair use of credits

Plans and limits exist so the Service stays fast and affordable. Don't share accounts to dodge limits, create multiple accounts to farm free kits, or script the generation endpoint outside normal product use.

7. Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, rate-limiting, suspension, or termination - depending on severity. Serious or illegal activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.

We aim to be reasonable and human about this. If you think we got it wrong, email hello@launchflare.app.

8. Reporting abuse

See content or behavior that violates this AUP? Email hello@launchflare.app with details and we'll investigate.
